COLLEGE
\nWESTERN STATE COLORADO VS. ADAMS STATE
\nAdams State University’s women’s squad defeated the visiting Western State Colorado University Mountaineers Oct. 11 at their home pool in Alamosa, Colorado. The Lady Grizzlies defeated Western State Colorado, 159-92.<\/p>\n

GEORGIA TECH-GEORGIA
\nThe Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets traveled to Athens to compete against the University of Georgia Bulldogs. Both Georgia Tech squads fell to 1-1, while Georgia maintained a perfect 3-0 mark. Georgia’s men won with a 184-109 score, while the defending NCAA Division I women’s champs scored 187 points to Georgia Tech’s 104.<\/p>\n

BRANDEIS-WHEATON
\nThe Brandeis University Judges opened their swimming season with a meet against the Wheaton College Lyons in Norton, Massachusetts. Wheaton came out on the winning end in both contests with final scores of 187-53 (women) and 183-86 (men). <\/p>\n

ARIZONA-UTAH
\nThe Arizona Wildcats women’s swimming squad began their season on a winning note with a 204-96 victory over the Utah Utes Oct. 19 in Salt Lake City. Utah turned the tables in the men’s contest, swimming away with a close 152-146 victory.<\/p>\n
