NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Minnesota has gained a new in-state verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Vadnais Heights, Minn. sprinter\u00a0Pyper Doo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Doo swims year-round with North Suburban Aquatic Club and owns a pair of U.S. Open cuts. She most recently competed at Rochester Speedo Sectionals where she earned gold in the 50m free, silver in the 100m free and bronze in the 200m free after finaling in the 100 free at Juniors West in December. She won two events at the Minnesota LCM Championships before recording a trio of top-10 finishes at Rochester Futures this past summer.\u00a0Also competing for Roseville High School, Doo won the 100 free and placed second in the 50 free at the Minnesota State Championships during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I chose Minnesota because its the best place for me to be. I know that being a gopher will help me succeed in my future in and out of the pool.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
