He placed ninth in both breaststroke events at Southern Zone Sectionals earlier in March and had six top-10 finishes at the Florida Gold Coast LCM Seniors this past summer.<\/p>\n<p>Also competing for Mater Lakes Academy, Moran is a four-time Florida 2A State Championships finalist.\u00a0He placed third in the 100 breast and 15th in the 200 IM as a senior after placing fifth in the former during his junior season.<\/p>\n<p>He told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>\u201cI am extremely excited to announce my commitment to Nova Southeastern University where I will continue my athletic and academic career. Thank you family, friends, and coaches that helped me along the way, excited to see what happens next . Gooo Sharks!!!\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>His best times include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 breast &#8211; 58.32<\/li>\n<li>200 breast &#8211; 2:05.93<\/li>\n<li>200 IM &#8211; 1:58.50<\/li>\n<li>400 IM &#8211; 4:11.83<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Moran will add valuable breaststroke and IM depth when he suits up for the Sharks as a member of the class of 2023.
