The relay win is also the third gold of the night for the Longhorns. The team of\u00a0<strong>Daniel Krueger\u00a0<\/strong>(41.73),\u00a0<strong>John Shebat\u00a0<\/strong>(41.65),\u00a0<strong>Tate Jackson\u00a0<\/strong>(40.98) and\u00a0<strong>Townley Haas\u00a0<\/strong>(40.76) swam a 2:45.12 to win the four-team battle over NC State (2:46.25), Cal (2:46.41) and Indiana (2:47.22).<\/p>\n<p>Texas was in a dogfight with the aforementioned four teams as NC State came in second with\u00a0<strong>Jacob Molacek\u00a0<\/strong>(41.91),\u00a0<strong>Coleman Stewart\u00a0<\/strong>(41.94),\u00a0<strong>Nyls Korstanje\u00a0<\/strong>(41.44) and\u00a0<strong>Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>(40.96). This is the third relay NC State finished in second in after grabbing the runner-up spots in the 800 free and 200 free relays.<\/p>\n<p>Cal was third as the Golden Bears clinched their first NCAA team title since 2014. The team of\u00a0<strong>Michael Jensen\u00a0<\/strong>(42.15),\u00a0<strong>Pawel Sendyk\u00a0<\/strong>(41.92),\u00a0<strong>Ryan Hoffer\u00a0<\/strong>(41.24) and\u00a0<strong>Andrew Seliskar\u00a0<\/strong>(41.10) swam for the Golden Bears. Cal won the team title after only winning one relay (200 free) all week.<\/p>\n<p>Florida State (2:48.51), Louisville (2:50.21), Ohio State (2:50.28) and Arizona State (2:50.47) also swam in the A-Final.<\/p>\n<p>The fastest splits outside the top three came from Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zach Apple\u00a0<\/strong>(41.47),\u00a0<strong>Jack Franzman\u00a0<\/strong>(41.51), Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zach Harting\u00a0<\/strong>(41.80) and Florida State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Emir Muratovic\u00a0<\/strong>(41.88).<\/p>\n<p>Texas now has ten 400 free relay NCAA titles.
