Seliskar swam a 1:38.14, the second fastest time ever behind\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>1:38.13. Seliskar talked about the &#8220;moment of frustration&#8221; when he saw he was so close to the record, but was still excited to win for his team.<\/p>\n<p>Seliskar was also on Cal&#8217;s 200 free relay winning team on Thursday night with\u00a0<strong>Pawel Sendyk<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Hoffer\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Michael Jensen\u00a0<\/strong>and gave a comment on that winning relay.<\/p>\n<p>Seliskar also discussed the looming showdown with\u00a0<strong>Townley Haas\u00a0<\/strong>on Friday night in the 200 free.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qzPcjqba-SU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cal senior\u00a0Andrew Seliskar\u00a0won his first NCAA individual title on Thursday night at the 2019 NCAA Division I Men&#8217;s Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas.
