But this year at the NCAA championships, Hoffer has been as advertised. Thursday night, he won the 50 free in 18.63 after posting a 18.58 in prelims, and he led the Bears to a win in the 200 free relay and second place in the 400 medley relay.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, Hoffer explained what the night had been like for the Golden Bears and how they were using monentum to push for a national championship.
