Just behind Hoffer was teammate\u00a0<strong>Pawel Sendyk<\/strong>, who added second-place points for the Golden Bears with his time of 18.68. The duo led Cal to a 200 free relay victory earlier in the night.<\/p>\n<p>Alabama&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Robert Howard\u00a0<\/strong>finished third in 18.80, just ahead of Minnesota&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Bowe Becker\u00a0<\/strong>(18.84). Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Zach Apple\u00a0<\/strong>broke 19 with his fifth-place time of 18.99, and the other finalists included Harvard&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dean Farris\u00a0<\/strong>(19.02), Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Tate Jackson\u00a0<\/strong>(19.03) and NC State&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>(19.10).<\/p>\n<p>In what is developing into a tight Texas-Cal team battle, Longhorns freshman\u00a0<strong>Drew Kibler\u00a0<\/strong>and Cal junior\u00a0<strong>Michael Jensen\u00a0<\/strong>tied for the B-final win in 19.15.
