Friday morning prelims action at the men’s NCAA swimming championships will begin at 10 a.m. CT in Austin, Texas, with five individual events and the 200 medley relay all on the program.<\/p>\n

Michigan’s\u00a0Charlie Swanson\u00a0<\/strong>is the top seed in the 400 IM, while defending champion\u00a0Abrahm DeVine\u00a0<\/strong>is seeded 30th. In the men’s 100 fly, Miles Smachlo<\/strong>,\u00a0Vini Lanza<\/strong> and\u00a0Kanoa Kaleoaloha\u00a0<\/strong>all enter seeded under 45 as the event enters a new era with\u00a0Caeleb Dressel\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Joseph Schooling\u00a0<\/strong>gone.<\/p>\n

The men’s 200 free, meanwhile, will feature a deep field led by top seed Andrew Seliskar\u00a0<\/strong>and three-time defending champion\u00a0Townley Haas<\/strong>. Defending champions\u00a0Ian Finnerty<\/strong> (Indiana) and Coleman Stewart\u00a0<\/strong>(NC State) own the top seeds in the 100 breast and 100 back, respectively.<\/p>\n
