The team of <strong>Izzy Ivey <\/strong>(47.79), <strong>Katie McLaughlin <\/strong>(46.62), <strong>Amy Bilquist <\/strong>(46.48) and <strong>Abbey Weitzeil <\/strong>(46.07) swam a 3:06.96 to take down the record they set at Pac-12&#8217;s at 3:07.41. It will not count as an American Record because of Weitzeil&#8217;s wrapped arm.<\/p>\n<p>Cal was trailing the whole race behind Michigan as the Wolverines finished in second at 3:08.07. The team of\u00a0<strong>Maggie MacNiel <\/strong>(47.04), <strong>Siobhan Haughey <\/strong>(46.44),\u00a0<strong>Catie DeLoof\u00a0<\/strong>(46.91) and\u00a0<strong>Daria Pyshnenko\u00a0<\/strong>(47.68) swam for the Wolverines in their highest relay finish of the meet. They were also second in the 200 free relay as the Wolverines placed third as a team.<\/p>\n<p>Stanford officially won the team title and finished third in the relay. The team of\u00a0<strong>Lauren Pitzer\u00a0<\/strong>(48.29),\u00a0<strong>Ella Eastin\u00a0<\/strong>(47.54),\u00a0<strong>Amalie Fackenthal\u00a0<\/strong>(48.25) and\u00a0<strong>Taylor Ruck\u00a0<\/strong>(45.65) swam for the Cardinal and were third at 3:09.73.<\/p>\n<p>The quickest splits outside the top three came from Louisville&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Mallory Comerford\u00a0<\/strong>(46.78), Tennessee&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Erika Brown\u00a0<\/strong>(47.28), Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Aly Tetzloff\u00a0<\/strong>(47.32) and Texas&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Grace Ariola\u00a0<\/strong>(47.50).<\/p>\n<p>Texas (3:10.89), Louisville (3:11.24), Auburn (3:11.64), Tennessee (3:12.20) and Virginia (3:12.85) also swam in the A-Final.<\/p>\n<p>Cal now has three NCAA titles in the 400 free relay.
