Nelson swam a 1:47.24 to take down the NCAA Record of 1:47.30 that\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker\u00a0<\/strong>set last year. Nelson broke her second NCAA record of the meet after getting the 100 back record last night. She just missed the American Record set\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>Regan Smith\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.16) two weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson used a huge last wall to get by Stanford freshman\u00a0<strong>Taylor Ruck\u00a0<\/strong>(1:47.59), who took the race out in the lead through the 150. Ruck ended up finishing second, picking up huge points for Stanford as the Cardinal had\u00a0<strong>Erin Voss\u00a0<\/strong>(1:50.92) and\u00a0<strong>Lucie Nordmann\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.10) place fourth and fifth. Stanford has overtaken the lead in the team standings.<\/p>\n<p>Nelson moved to second all-time and Ruck moved to fourth. Kentucky junior\u00a0<strong>Asia Seidt\u00a0<\/strong>(1:48.65) was third and moved to ninth all-time with her swim.<\/p>\n<p>Auburn&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sonnele Oeztuerk\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.22), Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Megan Moroney\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.28) and Kentucky&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ali Galyer\u00a0<\/strong>(1:51.62) also swam in the A-Final.<\/p>\n<p>Wisconsin now has two 200 back titles and four titles overall.
