The Volunteers won with a 1:34.10. The team was comprised of\u00a0<strong>Meghan Small <\/strong>(24.03),\u00a0<strong>Nikol Popov <\/strong>(26.51),\u00a0<strong>Maddy Banic\u00a0<\/strong>(22.58) and\u00a0<strong>Erika Brown<\/strong> (20.98) as the Volunteers won with a 1:34.10.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee won the final ahead of Cal (1:34.43) and NC State (1:34.80). Cal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abbey Weitzeil\u00a0<\/strong>(20.45) split the fastest 50 free ever on the anchor leg, tying her with\u00a0<strong>Simone Manuel\u00a0<\/strong>for the fastest ever split.<\/p>\n<p>Cal swam the relay with\u00a0<strong>Izzy Ivey\u00a0<\/strong>(24.07),\u00a0<strong>Ema Rajic\u00a0<\/strong>(27.28),\u00a0<strong>Maddie Murphy\u00a0<\/strong>(22.63) and Weitzeil (20.45) as Weitzeil&#8217;s anchor leg was not enough to catch Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>NC State finished in third place with\u00a0<strong>Elise Haan\u00a0<\/strong>(23.90),\u00a0<strong>Sophie Hansson\u00a0<\/strong>(26.64),\u00a0<strong>Kylee Alons\u00a0<\/strong>(22.94) and\u00a0<strong>Ky-lee Perry\u00a0<\/strong>(21.32) swimming for the Wolfpack.<\/p>\n<p>The fastest splits outside the top three came from Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Gmelich\u00a0<\/strong>(23.85), Indiana&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lilly King\u00a0<\/strong>(25.62), Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maggie MacNeil\u00a0<\/strong>(22.73) and Michigan&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Catie DeLoof\u00a0<\/strong>(21.43).<\/p>\n<p>Indiana (1:35.18), Louisville (1:35.57), Michigan (1:35.85), Stanford (1:36.13) and Virginia (1:36.16) also swam in the A-Final.<\/p>\n<p>Tennessee now has four NCAA relay titles in its history.
