Night two of the 2019 NCSA (National Club Swimming Association) Junior National Swimming Championship meet completed with more top swims. Tonight\u2019s events included: Men and Women\u2019s 200 Backstroke, Women\u2019s 100 Freestyle, Men\u2019s 500 Freestyle, Men and Women\u2019s 100 Breaststroke, Men and Women\u2019s 200 Butterfly, and the Men and Women\u2019s 200 Medley Relays.<\/p>\n

Dominating the field is Nation’s Capital Swim Club with a combined 1029 points, leading the women’s side with 692.5 points and the men’s with 336.5 points. It’s a battle for second on the women’s side with only half a point separating Aquajets Swim Team at 265 points from Nova of Virginia Aquatics 265.5. On the men’s side, Rockville Montgomery Swim Club is in second with 298 points and Nova of Virginia sits third with 225.5 points.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Back<\/h2>\n

Winning in a time of 1:50.46 with a new JRS was Isabelle Stadden<\/strong> from AQJT-MN, close behind was Phoebe Bacon<\/strong> of NCAP-PV in the time of 1:50.71. In third was Caroline Bentz<\/strong> in 1:54.03 of NCAP-PV. Fourth was Katelyn Mack<\/strong> (1:54.11), fifth Reilly Tiltmann<\/strong> (1:54.18), sixth Felicia Pasadyn<\/strong> (1:55.43), seventh Meghan Lee<\/strong> (1:56.65), and Ellie Waldrep<\/strong> eighth (1:56.76).<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 200 Back<\/h2>\n

It was a battle for first, with James<\/strong>\u00a0Marcum<\/strong> of MCC-SE claiming first in the time of 1:42.80. Second was RSCA-OZ\u2019s Jack Dolan<\/strong> in the time of 1:42.91, and in third was Sean Conway<\/strong> of NCAP-PV touching at 1:43.79. Hitting fourth was Zachary Hils<\/strong> (1:44.54), Aidan Stoffle<\/strong> (1:44.91) fifth, Jack Kirby<\/strong> (1:45.54) sixth, Owen Hanna<\/strong> (1:45.60) seventh, and Zachary Cram<\/strong> eighth (1:48.01).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 100 Free<\/h2>\n

Victoria Huske<\/strong> (AAC-PV) was the only one to break the 49 second mark clocking in with the time of 48.70. Grace Cooper<\/strong> (DLTA-IL) took second in a time of 49.03, and Christiana Regenauer<\/strong> (COND-MR) touched third in 49.13. After touching fourth in the 200 back Katelyn Mack<\/strong> does it again (49.26), Carly Novelline<\/strong> (49.28) was fifth, Rebekah Hamilton<\/strong> (49.36) sixth, Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> (49.63) seventh, and in eighth Madison Hall<\/strong> (49.86).<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 500 Free<\/h2>\n

Luke Maurer<\/strong> of WILD-IL would hit the wall first in 4:21.05 with Jacob Rosner<\/strong> (UN-01-PV) right behind in 4:21.32. Third would go to Andrew Matejka<\/strong> (BGSC-NE) in 4:22.82. Fourth was Cole Kuster<\/strong> (4:26.21), fifth Aiden Reagan<\/strong> (4:26.56), sixth Jacob Narvid<\/strong> (4:27.77), seventh Ryan Vipavetz<\/strong> (4:28.82), and eighth Daniel Gyenis<\/strong> (4:32.39).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n

Winning, and the only one to break the minute barrier, was Anna Keating<\/strong> (MACH-PV) in a time of 59.04. It was a battle for second with Hannah Bach<\/strong> (CSL-LE) touching in at 1:00.17 and Cecilia Porter<\/strong> (BAY-SE) third in 1:00.58, with Letitia Sim<\/strong> behind in fourth at 1:00.65. Fifth was Taylor Steele<\/strong> (1:00.98), sixth Zoe Skirboll<\/strong> (1:01.85), Georgia Johnson<\/strong> (1:01.92) seventh, and eighth Kaelyn Gridley<\/strong> (1:02.16).<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n

In first place with a time of 52.51 was Anthony Grimm<\/strong> (MAKO-PV). In second was Joshua Matheny<\/strong> (PEAQ-AM) just missing breaking the 53 mark in 53.07. Third was William Myhre<\/strong> (SCST-IL) in the time of 53.54. Fourth was Shane Blinkman<\/strong> (53.75), fifth Bernhard Christianson<\/strong> (54.47), sixth Paul Kinsella<\/strong> (54.48), seventh Noah Nichols<\/strong> (54.64), and eighth Jason Louser<\/strong> (55.38).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n

NCAP-PV\u2019s Abigail Harter<\/strong> just out touched second\u2019s Grace Sheble<\/strong> in the time of 1:54.71 to Sheble\u2019s 1:54.84. In third was Tess Howley<\/strong> (LIAC-MR) in 1:55.29. Fourth was Victoria Huske<\/strong> (1:56.18), fifth Amanda Ray<\/strong> (1:57.72), sixth Rachel Klinker<\/strong> (1:58.28), seventh Addison Smith<\/strong> (2:00.12), and eighth Mackenzie McConagha<\/strong> (2:04.03).<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n

Taking gold in a time of 1:45.40 was Alexander Colson<\/strong> (RMSC-PV) just ahead of Timothy Marski\u2019s<\/strong> (LIAC-MR) 1:45.94. In third was Jack Mowery<\/strong> touching in at 1:46.45. Fourth was Benjamin Charles<\/strong> (1:47.70), fifth Andrew Dai<\/strong> (1:47.87), sixth Ryan Vipavetz<\/strong> (1:47.91), seventh Alan Li<\/strong> (1:48.99), and eighth Jason Louser<\/strong> (1:49.56).<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n

Nation’s Capital Swim Club relay of Phoebe Bacon<\/strong>, Abigail Harter<\/strong>, Mackenzie McConagha<\/strong>, and Katelyn Mack<\/strong> would claim first on the women’s side in the time of 1:39.50. Touching just behind was Baylor Swim Club’s Ellie Waldrep<\/strong>, Cecilia Porter<\/strong>, Addison Smith<\/strong>, and Jewel Gordon<\/strong> in 1:39.52. Third was Aquajets Swim Team (1:40.67), fourth Elmbrook Swim Club (1:40.87), fifth Academy Bullets Swim Club (1:40.93), sixth Delta Aquatics (1:41.47), seventh Arlington Aquatic Club (1:41.96), and eighth was Nasa Wildcat Aquatics (1:42.02).<\/p>\n

Men\u2019s 200 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n

It was a battle for first, with the top four teams all touching under 1:31. Winning in the time of 1:30.12 was Aquajets Swim Team’s relay of Anderson Breazeale<\/strong>, Hayden Zheng<\/strong>, Alexander Deng<\/strong>, and Casey Stowe.\u00a0<\/strong>Touching second from St. Charles Swim Team was Calvin Windle<\/strong>, William Myhre<\/strong>, Nathaniel Baxter<\/strong>, and Matthew Nagler<\/strong> in a time of 1:30.46.
