Tonight\u2019s events included: Men and Women\u2019s 200 Backstroke, Women\u2019s 100 Freestyle, Men\u2019s 500 Freestyle, Men and Women\u2019s 100 Breaststroke, Men and Women\u2019s 200 Butterfly, and the Men and Women\u2019s 200 Medley Relays.<\/p>\n<p>Dominating the field is Nation&#8217;s Capital Swim Club with a combined 1029 points, leading the women&#8217;s side with 692.5 points and the men&#8217;s with 336.5 points. It&#8217;s a battle for second on the women&#8217;s side with only half a point separating Aquajets Swim Team at 265 points from Nova of Virginia Aquatics 265.5. In third was <strong>Caroline Bentz<\/strong> in 1:54.03 of NCAP-PV. Fourth was <strong>Katelyn Mack<\/strong> (1:54.11), fifth <strong>Reilly Tiltmann<\/strong> (1:54.18), sixth <strong>Felicia Pasadyn<\/strong> (1:55.43), seventh <strong>Meghan Lee<\/strong> (1:56.65), and <strong>Ellie Waldrep<\/strong> eighth (1:56.76).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 200 Back<\/h2>\n<p>It was a battle for first, with <strong>James<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Marcum<\/strong> of MCC-SE claiming first in the time of 1:42.80. Second was RSCA-OZ\u2019s <strong>Jack Dolan<\/strong> in the time of 1:42.91, and in third was <strong>Sean Conway<\/strong> of NCAP-PV touching at 1:43.79. Hitting fourth was <strong>Zachary Hils<\/strong> (1:44.54), <strong>Aidan Stoffle<\/strong> (1:44.91) fifth, <strong>Jack Kirby<\/strong> (1:45.54) sixth, <strong>Owen Hanna<\/strong> (1:45.60) seventh, and <strong>Zachary Cram<\/strong> eighth (1:48.01).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Victoria Huske<\/strong> (AAC-PV) was the only one to break the 49 second mark clocking in with the time of 48.70. <strong>Grace Cooper<\/strong> (DLTA-IL) took second in a time of 49.03, and <strong>Christiana Regenauer<\/strong> (COND-MR) touched third in 49.13. After touching fourth in the 200 back <strong>Katelyn Mack<\/strong> does it again (49.26), <strong>Carly Novelline<\/strong> (49.28) was fifth, <strong>Rebekah Hamilton<\/strong> (49.36) sixth, <strong>Chloe Stepanek<\/strong> (49.63) seventh, and in eighth <strong>Madison Hall<\/strong> (49.86).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 500 Free<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Luke Maurer<\/strong> of WILD-IL would hit the wall first in 4:21.05 with <strong>Jacob Rosner<\/strong> (UN-01-PV) right behind in 4:21.32. Third would go to <strong>Andrew Matejka<\/strong> (BGSC-NE) in 4:22.82. Fourth was <strong>Cole Kuster<\/strong> (4:26.21), fifth <strong>Aiden Reagan<\/strong> (4:26.56), sixth <strong>Jacob Narvid<\/strong> (4:27.77), seventh <strong>Ryan Vipavetz<\/strong> (4:28.82), and eighth <strong>Daniel Gyenis<\/strong> (4:32.39).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>Winning, and the only one to break the minute barrier, was <strong>Anna Keating<\/strong> (MACH-PV) in a time of 59.04. It was a battle for second with <strong>Hannah Bach<\/strong> (CSL-LE) touching in at 1:00.17 and <strong>Cecilia Porter<\/strong> (BAY-SE) third in 1:00.58, with <strong>Letitia Sim<\/strong> behind in fourth at 1:00.65. Fifth was <strong>Taylor Steele<\/strong> (1:00.98), sixth Z<strong>oe Skirboll<\/strong> (1:01.85), <strong>Georgia Johnson<\/strong> (1:01.92) seventh, and eighth <strong>Kaelyn Gridley<\/strong> (1:02.16).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 100 Breast<\/h2>\n<p>In first place with a time of 52.51 was <strong>Anthony Grimm<\/strong> (MAKO-PV). In second was <strong>Joshua Matheny<\/strong> (PEAQ-AM) just missing breaking the 53 mark in 53.07. Third was <strong>William Myhre<\/strong> (SCST-IL) in the time of 53.54. Fourth was <strong>Shane Blinkman<\/strong> (53.75), fifth <strong>Bernhard Christianson<\/strong> (54.47), sixth <strong>Paul Kinsella<\/strong> (54.48), seventh <strong>Noah Nichols<\/strong> (54.64), and eighth <strong>Jason Louser<\/strong> (55.38).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>NCAP-PV\u2019s<strong> Abigail Harter<\/strong> just out touched second\u2019s <strong>Grace Sheble<\/strong> in the time of 1:54.71 to Sheble\u2019s 1:54.84. In third was <strong>Tess Howley<\/strong> (LIAC-MR) in 1:55.29. Fourth was <strong>Victoria Huske<\/strong> (1:56.18), fifth <strong>Amanda Ray<\/strong> (1:57.72), sixth <strong>Rachel Klinker<\/strong> (1:58.28), seventh <strong>Addison Smith<\/strong> (2:00.12), and eighth <strong>Mackenzie McConagha<\/strong> (2:04.03).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 200 Fly<\/h2>\n<p>Taking gold in a time of 1:45.40 was <strong>Alexander Colson<\/strong> (RMSC-PV) just ahead of <strong>Timothy Marski\u2019s<\/strong> (LIAC-MR) 1:45.94. In third was <strong>Jack Mowery<\/strong> touching in at 1:46.45. Fourth was <strong>Benjamin Charles<\/strong> (1:47.70), fifth <strong>Andrew Dai<\/strong> (1:47.87), sixth <strong>Ryan Vipavetz<\/strong> (1:47.91), seventh <strong>Alan Li<\/strong> (1:48.99), and eighth <strong>Jason Louser<\/strong> (1:49.56).<\/p>\n<h2>Women\u2019s 200 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>Nation&#8217;s Capital Swim Club relay of <strong>Phoebe Bacon<\/strong>, <strong>Abigail Harter<\/strong>, <strong>Mackenzie McConagha<\/strong>, and <strong>Katelyn Mack<\/strong> would claim first on the women&#8217;s side in the time of 1:39.50. Touching just behind was Baylor Swim Club&#8217;s <strong>Ellie Waldrep<\/strong>, <strong>Cecilia Porter<\/strong>, <strong>Addison Smith<\/strong>, and <strong>Jewel Gordon<\/strong> in 1:39.52. Third was Aquajets Swim Team (1:40.67), fourth Elmbrook Swim Club (1:40.87), fifth Academy Bullets Swim Club (1:40.93), sixth Delta Aquatics (1:41.47), seventh Arlington Aquatic Club (1:41.96), and eighth was Nasa Wildcat Aquatics (1:42.02).<\/p>\n<h2>Men\u2019s 200 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n<p>It was a battle for first, with the top four teams all touching under 1:31. Winning in the time of 1:30.12 was Aquajets Swim Team&#8217;s relay of <strong>Anderson Breazeale<\/strong>, <strong>Hayden Zheng<\/strong>, <strong>Alexander Deng<\/strong>, and <strong>Casey Stowe.\u00a0<\/strong>Touching second from St. Charles Swim Team was <strong>Calvin Windle<\/strong>, <strong>William Myhre<\/strong>,<strong> Nathaniel Baxter<\/strong>, and <strong>Matthew Nagler<\/strong> in a time of 1:30.46. Third was Pittsburgh Elite Aquatics (1:30.64), fourth Nation&#8217;s Capital Swim Club (1:30.96), fifth Rockville Montgomery Swim Club (1:31.26), sixth Fox Valley Swim Team (1:31.51), seventh Poseidon Swimming Inc (1:31.53), and eighth Long Island Aquatic Club (1:31.84).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Grace Nordquist, Swimming World College Intern.
