Events swam tonight were the 200 Medley, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast, 100 back, and the 800 free relay. Of the fourteen events, all but three broke either the CSCAA or pool record.<\/p>\n<p>The University of Akron took the lead on the women&#8217;s side with 410 points, Rice University in second with 390 points, and third is Florida International 309. On the men&#8217;s side Indiana University leads with 553 points, California Baptist in second with 445.5 points and Ohio State third with 373.5 points.<\/p>\n<h2>Women&#8217;s team scores<\/h2>\n<p>1. Touching second in a time of 1:26.22 was Indiana University&#8217;s <strong>Jacob Steele, Brock Brown, Cory Gambardella, Griffin Eiber<\/strong>. Claiming third was Denver&#8217;s relay <strong>Neil<\/strong><strong> Wachtler, Cy Jager, Adriel Sanes,<\/strong> and <strong>Hugo Sykes,<\/strong> in a time of 1:26.88. Hitting the wall second in a time of 1:40.45 was Florida International University <strong>Melannie Vargas, Sara Gyertyanffy, Stephanie Hussey,<\/strong> and<strong> Paloma Sanchez.\u00a0<\/strong>In third was Denver&#8217;s <strong>Heidi Bradley, Brandi Vu, Kylie Cronin,<\/strong> and<strong> Lauren Moden<\/strong> in the time of 1:40.74. In first place with a time of 4:12.35, and a new pool record, was New Hampshire&#8217;s <strong>Corinn Carbone.<\/strong> Akron&#8217;s <strong>Olivia Gardner<\/strong> touched second in 4:16.48 just in front of <strong>Anna Metzler<\/strong> (NH) third place finish of 4:16.57.
