Thomas was trailing Arizona freshman <\/span><b>David Schlicht <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">heading into the final 50, but he ran him down with the fastest final 50 of the field (24.63). Schlicht ended up second, just behind Thomas is 3:40.14. Rounding out the podium was Cal sophomore <\/span><b>Sean Grieshop<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 3:41.17. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Notably, Stanford senior <\/span><b>Abrahm DeVine <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">won the B-final in 3:43.42. DeVine was the NCAA Champion in this event last year. That drops a quarter second off his season best and moves him up to #7 in Division I. He was also about half a second off of <\/span><b>Austin Staab\u2019s <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">meet record in the event. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cal ended up going 1-2 in this event, with 50 free champion <\/span><b>Pawel Sendyk <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">touching second in 45.46. That broke the 2017 meet record of 1:31.71 that was held by ASU\u2019s <\/span><b>Cameron Craig<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and was just off of his season best of 1:30.86 from the Georgia Invitational. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seliskar won the event by nearly 1.5 seconds. Teammate <\/span><b>Grant House <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was second in 1:32.47, while Arizona\u2019s <\/span><b>Jorge Iga <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">was third in 1:32.91. That took a tenth off of Vissering\u2019s lifetime and season best that has him currently ranked second in the country behind Indiana\u2019s <\/span><b>Ian Finnerty<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">His swim also snapped Cal\u2019s winning streak tonight to give USC their second individual win of the meet. The previous Pac-12 meet record had stood at 51.23 from <\/span><b>Kevin Cordes <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">back in 2014. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In second was Cal freshman <\/span><b>Reece Whitley<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in 51.38, who dropped a tenth from his own season best and was just off his lifetime best of 51.16. The team of <\/span><b>Daniel Carr <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(45.61), Reece Whitley<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(51.91), Andrew Seliskar (44.80), and <\/span><b>Michael Jensen <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(41.77) had to hold off a charging USC in the final 200 yards, but held on for the win to make it three straight relay titles at this meet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That is the second win of the night for Seliskar, who broke the meet record in the 200 free earlier in the session. He also had the fastest 100 fly split of the entire field. In second was the team from USC (3:04.62), while Arizona grabbed third (3:06.61). <\/span><\/p>\n<pre><b> Event 15  Men 400 Yard Medley
