NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Iowa City, Iowa breaststroker and current high school junior\u00a0Olivia Masterson\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Wisonsin – Madison as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Masterson swims year-round with Iowa Flyers Swim Club and owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100m breast with the Winter Juniors cut in the 200 breast. She placed 17th in the 100 breast at Juniors West in a new personal best time in December and achieved four lifetime bests at NCSAs last March. The NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American capped off her summer long course season by finishing second in the 50m breast, fourth in the 100m breast and 15th in the 200m breast at NCSAs. While representing Iowa City High School, Masterson raced to third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 IM at the 2018 Iowa State Championships.<\/p>\n
