The third day of the 2019 NAIA Championships kicked off with a full sate of events on Thursday in Columbus, Georgia.<\/p>\n

Friday morning\u2019s events included the 200 medley relay, 400 IM, 100 fly, 200 free, 100 breast and 100 back.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s 200 Medley Relay<\/h2>\n

Keiser started the day off with a strong swim in the 200 medley relay. Meagan Abad, Ori Freibach, Amanda Stromberg<\/strong> and Emma Sofie Augustsson<\/strong> took the top seed in 1:45.81.<\/p>\n

It was more than a second ahead of the field.<\/p>\n

Cumberlands took the second seed in 1:41.13, followed by the College of Idaho (1:47.90).<\/p>\n

The Keiser men took the top seed in the 200 medley relay as well, following the women.<\/p>\n
Jan Suchan, Matias Lazzerini, Joel Hansson<\/strong> and Andrei Stukov<\/strong> combined to finish in 1:31.44, more than a second ahead of the field.<\/p>\n
Midland tok the second seed (1:32.66), followed by Union (1:33.27).<\/p>\n

Olivet Nazarene sophomore Karla Islas<\/strong> put herself in a strong position on Friday, taking the top seed in the 400 IM by more than two seconds.<\/p>\n
Islas finished in 4:31.82, dropping eight seconds from her seed time.<\/p>\n
Cumberlands\u2019 Christina Klouda<\/strong> took the second seed in 4:33.97, while Loyola junior Paige Carter<\/strong> was third (4:34.11).<\/p>\n
Thomas University\u2019s Kiana Molina<\/strong> tok the fourth spot (4:35.84), followed by SCAD freshman Kaylen Hou<\/strong> (4:36.01), Keiser junior Annamaria Zombai<\/strong> (4:37.69), Brenau sophomore Nikoletta Alvanou<\/strong> (4:37.71) and SCAD freshman Abigail Tankersley<\/strong> (4:37.80).<\/p>\n

Four freshmen made the top eight in the men\u2019s 400 IM, while three from Lindenwood will swim in the finals.<\/p>\n
Keiser freshman Pol Roch<\/strong> took the top seed in 4:00.77, finishing just ahead of Lindenwood freshman Martin Le Pays du Teilleul<\/strong> (4:01.35).<\/p>\n
Linnenwood sophomore Niels Engeln<\/strong> took the third seed, followed by SCAD freshman Maik Riefenstahl<\/strong> (4:02.10) and sophomore George Harsanyi<\/strong> (4:02.21).<\/p>\n
Life University\u2019s Gustav Lucas<\/strong> took the sixth seed (4:02.63), followed by Olivet Nazarene junior Seth Cripe<\/strong> (4:04.93) and Lindenwood freshman Thomas Granet<\/strong> (4:05.69).<\/p>\n

Cumberlands sophomore Mendy De Rooi<\/strong> continued her strong racing at nationals, surging to the top seed in the 100 fly in 56.42.<\/p>\n
Indiana Wesleyan freshman Sydney Darnell<\/strong> was just behind at 56.69, setting up what could be an extremely close final.<\/p>\n
College of Idaho\u2019s Madison Kelly<\/strong> took the third seed in 56.90, followed by Keiser freshman Anna Herbst<\/strong> (57.08).<\/p>\n
SCAD junior Lydia Reinhardt<\/strong> took the fifth spot (57.45), followed by Cumberlands senior Katy Smeltzer<\/strong> (58.10), Keiser junior Kamryn Gallowich<\/strong> (58.20) and Asbury senior Claire Goodrum<\/strong> (58.30).<\/p>\n

Cumberlands sophomore Viktor Lyson<\/strong> took the second seed in 49.22, while Witkor Perkowski,<\/strong> a sophomore from Union, too the third spot in 49.73.<\/p>\n
Asbury freshman Alex Wu<\/strong> took the fourth seed in 49.74, followed by SCAD sophomore Miles Kredich<\/strong> (49.97), SCAD senior Brogan Bunner<\/strong> (50.56), Loyola sophomore Jack Jackson<\/strong> (50.58) and SCAD freshman Irvin Hoost<\/strong> (51.12).<\/p>\n

SCAD freshman Spencer Sheridan<\/strong> took the top spot in 1:53.23.<\/p>\n
Union sophomore Jessica Axford<\/strong> took the second seed (1:53.58), followed by Lindsey Wilson\u2019s Jessica MacDonald<\/strong> (1:53.79).<\/p>\n
A trio of SCAD seniors followed as Julie Henninger<\/strong> took the fourth spot in 1:53.87, followed by Shayna Salzman<\/strong> (1:54.17) and Sarah Dostie<\/strong> (1:55.08).<\/p>\n
Asbury sophomore Hope Clark<\/strong> took the seventh spot (1:56.05) and Loyola freshman Ulrike Tovilla<\/strong> was eighth (1:56.56).<\/p>\n
