Shaving off 3.32 seconds off of their seed time, senior,\u00a0<strong>Naomi Ruele<\/strong> led off with a 24.44 backstroke, followed by sophomore <strong>Sara Gyertyanffy<\/strong> splitting a 27.08 in the breaststroke. Rice&#8217;s <strong>Marta Cano-Minarro<\/strong>, freshman, led off the first 200 free with a 1:45.98, followed by junior, <strong>Claire Therien<\/strong> (1:47.85).
