During her time competing for the University of Virginia, she won four NCAA titles and became a double World Champion with gold medal performances in the 400m and 800m freestyle events. At the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, Leah brought home a gold medal for her participation on the women\u2019s 4 x 200m free relay, as well as an individual bronze in the women\u2019s 400m free. However, since her Olympic performance, Smith has shown no signs of slowing down. Bick<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Most recently, Leah picked up two silver medals at the 2018 Phillips 66 National Swimming Championships before taking home silver and three bronze medals at the 2018 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Tokyo. Leah also earned podium finishes for her swims in the 4 x 200m freestyle relay and the 800m freestyle at the 2018 FINA Short Course World Championships. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Looking ahead to 2020, Leah is set to once again make waves on the world\u2019s stage.
