Braswell, a freshman, was the only athlete in the field to break the 16-minute barrier. She stopped the clock at a time of 15:53.54. His time overturns Georgia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Sebastian Roualt&#8217;s<\/strong> 2006 record of 14:35.47 and earned him an &#8216;A&#8217; cut.<\/p>\n<p>Fellow Florida freshman\u00a0<strong>Trey Freeman<\/strong>\u00a0added a second place finish of 14:48.69. Finke and Freeman&#8217;s 1-2 finish earned the Florida Gators a combined total of 60 points and pushed them further away from the other teams in the team rankings. The two were two of the fastest off the start, producing reaction times of 0.56 and 0.55 each. Seidt commanded the race from the beginning, flipping first at every turn before stopping the clock at a time of 1:49.31.
