The headliner was freshman\u00a0<strong>Sophie Hansson\u00a0<\/strong>as she swam a 57.74 in the 100 breast as she moved to sixth all-time in the event.<\/p>\n<p>Hansson also swam on NC State&#8217;s winning 400 medley relay team as she split a 57.75 there as well. She teamed with\u00a0<strong>Elise Haan<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Kylee Alons<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>Ky-lee Perry\u00a0<\/strong>to win that relay to close the night.<\/p>\n<p>Haan also won the 100 back earlier in the night as she successfully defended her title that she won in 2018. Boston College                    124<\/pre>\n<h3>100 Fly<\/h3>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Morgan Hill\u00a0<\/strong>won her second event of the weekend at the 2019 ACC Women&#8217;s Swimming and Diving Championships with a 51.01 in the 100 fly final on Friday night in Greensboro. Hill won the 50 free last night and also won the 100 fly tonight by 0.01. Sophomore\u00a0<strong>Kate Moore\u00a0<\/strong>won the final with a 4:05.24 as she finished ahead of teammates\u00a0<strong>Makayla Sargent\u00a0<\/strong>(4:06.19),\u00a0<strong>Emma Muzzy\u00a0<\/strong>(4:06.89) and\u00a0<strong>Julia Poole\u00a0<\/strong>(4:07.65).<\/p>\n<p>NC State had four in the top eight last night in the 200 IM but only Poole made both A-Finals as Moore did the 500 and Sargent and Muzzy swam their first events today.<\/p>\n<p>Defending champion\u00a0<strong>Reka Gyorgy\u00a0<\/strong>was the defending champion but finished in fifth at 4:08.72. But crashing the Cavalier party was Louisville senior\u00a0<strong>Mallory Comerford\u00a0<\/strong>(1:41.60) who broke her own meet record of 1:41.70 from 2017. Comerford won her fourth straight ACC crown in this event.<\/p>\n<p>Following Comerford was Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Paige Madden\u00a0<\/strong>(1:44.03) and\u00a0<strong>Megan Moroney\u00a0<\/strong>(1:44.61) in second and third. Notre Dame&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Abbie Dolan\u00a0<\/strong>finished in fourth at 1:44.65 as those three swimmers all went slower tonight in finals.<\/p>\n<p>Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Eryn Eddy\u00a0<\/strong>did improve on her seed as she finished in fifth at 1:44.77. Hansson took down\u00a0<strong>Emma Reaney<\/strong>&#8216;s old record from 2015 that was a 57.79. Hansson also took down\u00a0<strong>Andrea Cottrell&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>meet record of 58.26 from 2016 in the process.<\/p>\n<p>Hansson had her hands full in the final through 75 with Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alexis Wenger\u00a0<\/strong>(58.31) pushing her the whole way. Wenger dropped over a second from her heat swim in the 100 breast.<\/p>\n<p>Florida State freshman\u00a0<strong>Ida Hulkko\u00a0<\/strong>(58.94) placed in third for the Seminoles as there were five total freshmen in the 100 breast final. Marsh was fifth in the 100 fly and Muzzy was third in the 400 IM.<\/p>\n<p>Duke&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Maddie Hess\u00a0<\/strong>(52.27) and Virginia&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caroline Gmelich\u00a0<\/strong>(52.71) placed fifth and sixth in the final.
