A total of five meet records fell:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pullman&#8217;s <strong>Holden Ellsworth\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; 100 fly<\/li>\n<li>Olympic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Dietrich Meyer\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; 100 free<\/li>\n<li>Olympic &#8211; 4&#215;50 Medley Relay<\/li>\n<li>Kingston&#8217;s <strong>Timothy Gallagher\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; 100 back<\/li>\n<li>Olympic &#8211; 4&#215;100 Free Relay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Click <a href=\"http:\/\/wiaa.com\/results\/swim\/18-19\/2Aboys\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a> for full results.<\/p>\n<h2>Top 5 Team Scores:<\/h2>\n<p>1. Olympic &#8211; 293<br \/>\n2. Anacortes &#8211; 265<br \/>\n3. Kingston &#8211; 238<br \/>\n4. Pullman &#8211; 224<br \/>\n5. Liberty (Renton) &#8211; 207<\/p>\n<p>Kingston&#8217;s\u00a0Gallagher (22.81),\u00a0<strong>Aron Markow\u00a0<\/strong>(25.62),\u00a0<strong>Rocco Welie\u00a0<\/strong>(24.40) and\u00a0<strong>Ethan Fox\u00a0<\/strong>(21.47) began the meet by winning the 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:34.30, nearly two seconds ahead of runner-up Anacrotes (1:36.22) and third-place finisher Olympic (1:37.55).<\/p>\n<p>Soon after leading off the winning medley relay, Gallagher was back in the water to win the 200 free with a final time of 1:40.13. Liberty (Renton)&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Warren Briggs\u00a0<\/strong>raced to second in 1:41.90 while Washougal&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Isiah Ross\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 1:43.05.<\/p>\n<p>Kingston started the meet by winning the first three events as senior\u00a0Fox won the 200 IM in 1:54.38, shaving over three seconds from his prelims time. Also breaking two minutes was Olympic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Haakon Meyer\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.05) in second and Anacrotes&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Jacob Hoxie\u00a0<\/strong>(1:58.73) for third.<\/p>\n<p>D. Meyer splashed-and-dashed his way to a win in the 50 free, stopping the clock in a quick 21.49 to lead the top six swimmers under 22 seconds.\u00a0Bellingham&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Korbin Vera\u00a0<\/strong>(21.65) and Markow (21.78) finished second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Elijah Drew\u00a0<\/strong>of Bellingham dove to first on the 1-meter board after posting a final score of 305.80 for the win. Fife&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>David Zadniprovskiy\u00a0<\/strong>took second with 293.00 points followed by PA&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Andrew Methner\u00a0<\/strong>who finished third with a score of 273.65.<\/p>\n<p>Ellsworth<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>flew to the top of the podium in the 100 fly, clocking in at 49.75 as the only swimmer under 50 seconds. His time broke\u00a0<strong>Emmett Moore&#8217;s<\/strong> meet record of\u00a049.94 set last season. Second went to Ross in 50.35 while Moore wound up third in 51.31.<\/p>\n<p>D. Meyer showed his sprint talent by adding the 100 free title to match his 50 free crown from earlier. His time of 46.42 eclipsed his own meet record of 46.56 he set last season. His brother H. Meyer was the runner-up in 47.37 while Anacortes&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Jacob Erickson\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 48.23.<\/p>\n<p>After taking second in the 200 free, Briggs redeemed himself by winning the 500 free with a final time of 4:36.52. The runner-up spot went to Olympic&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ryan Burchell\u00a0<\/strong>in 4:38.77 and Pullman&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Josh Joireman\u00a0<\/strong>rounded out the top three in 4:44.22.<\/p>\n<p>Olympic&#8217;s H. Meyer (21.91),\u00a0<strong>Rainer Meyer\u00a0<\/strong>(21.86),\u00a0<strong>Tiernnann Shelton\u00a0<\/strong>(21.89) and D. Meyer (20.98) combined to win the 4&#215;50 free relay in 1:26.64, crushing Columbia River&#8217;s 2018 meet record of 1:27.29. Pullman (1:29.47) and Liberty (Renton) (1:31.10) completed the top three.<\/p>\n<p>Gallagher powered home to a win in the 100 back as the only swimmer to go under 50 seconds, doing so in 48.79. That time broke his own meet record of 49.42 he set last season. Ellsworth raced to second in 50.31 and Moore finished third in 52.75.<\/p>\n<p>Markow led the charge in the 100 breast as the first of only four swimmers under 60 seconds, getting his hands to the wall in 57.06 ahead of North Kitsap&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Nathan Ramey\u00a0<\/strong>(57.40) and Fox (58.44).<\/p>\n<p>Olympic&#8217;s H. Meyer (47.46),\u00a0<strong>Ross Burchell\u00a0<\/strong>(48.47),\u00a0<strong>Ryan Burchell\u00a0<\/strong>(49.04) and D. Meyer (45.91) concluded the meet with a bang, winning the 4&#215;100 free relay in 3:10.88 to take down Kingston&#8217;s meet record of 3:12.91.
