Bridgeport &#8211; 184<br \/>\n2. George Washington &#8211; 161<br \/>\n3. Wheeling Park &#8211; 146.5<br \/>\n4. Parkersburg &#8211; 141<br \/>\n5. Parkersburg South &#8211; 128<\/p>\n<p>Bridgeport began their quest for the team title as\u00a0<strong>Bruce Keener\u00a0<\/strong>(24.02),\u00a0<strong>Luke Pinti\u00a0<\/strong>(28.27),\u00a0<strong>John Carter\u00a0<\/strong>(23.96) and\u00a0<strong>Kyle Malcolm\u00a0<\/strong>(22.92) won the opening 4&#215;50 medley relay in 1:39.17. Second went to Parkersburg in 1:41.01 while Parkersburg South took third in 1:44.04.<\/p>\n<p>Parkersburg South&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Macguire McDuff\u00a0<\/strong>led the charge in the 200 free, finishing first in a time of 1:48.28. Also under the 1:50 barrier was Wheeling Park&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Charles Schellhase\u00a0<\/strong>(1:49.53) for second and PKHS&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Brady Colvin\u00a0<\/strong>(1:49.81) for third.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after leading off the winning medley relay, Keener was back in the water to win the 200 IM in 1:59.08. University&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Frank McCutchan\u00a0<\/strong>raced to second in 1:59.68 and George Washington&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ian Adler\u00a0<\/strong>wound up third in 1:59.95 as the only swimmers under two minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jorge Rojo Sato\u00a0<\/strong>of Parkersburg South splashed-and-dashed his way to the gold medal in the 50 free with a final time of 22.29. Carter sprinted to the silver medal in 22.46 while Hurricane&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Reeid Painter<\/strong> grabbed bronze in 22.53.<\/p>\n<p>Snider<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>flew to the top of the podium in the 100 fly, touching the wall in 50.10 to win by nearly three seconds. Rojo Sato (52.88) and HHS&#8217;\u00a0<strong>Henry Sheils\u00a0<\/strong>(54.93) finished second and third, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>McDuff led the top three finishers under the 50-second mark in the 100 free, winning the event in 48.31 for his second gold of the day. Wheeling Park&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Caleb Lucas\u00a0<\/strong>sprinted to second in 49.16 and third again went to Painter in 49.50.<\/p>\n<p>After taking second in the 200 IM, McCutchan redeemed himself by winning the 500 free by four seconds with a final time of 4:53.07. Also under five minutes was Schellhase in 4:57.68 for second and 5:03.04 was fast enough for Colvin to finish third.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcel Rodriquez\u00a0<\/strong>(23.95),\u00a0Malcolm (23.28),\u00a0<strong>Phillip Malenich\u00a0<\/strong>(24.20) and Carter (22.08) teamed up to give Bridgeport another relay victory, finishing the 4&#215;50 free in 1:33.51. Close behind was Winfield (1:33.57) for the runner-up spot and third went to Wheeling Park (1:34.22).<\/p>\n<p>Snider added another gold in the 100 back to match his 100 fly title from earlier in the day. He finished in 50.86, breaking\u00a0<strong>Nathaniel Carr&#8217;s<\/strong> state record of 51.28 set back in 2013. Keener took second in 52.73 and SISHS&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Alec Calloway\u00a0<\/strong>raced to third in 57.06.<\/p>\n<p>Adler got his hands to the wall in 1:00.93 to win the 100 breast state title, shaving over a second off his prelims time.\u00a0<strong>Alexander Dague\u00a0<\/strong>of Wheeling Park finished second in 1:03.89 and third went to Carter in 1:04.07.<\/p>\n<p>Parkersburg&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Jakeb Bertram\u00a0<\/strong>(53.03),\u00a0<strong>AJ Vann\u00a0<\/strong>(53.63),\u00a0<strong>Brady Colvin\u00a0<\/strong>(49.62) and Snider (46.82) concluded the meet by winning the 4&#215;100 free relay in a combined time of 3:23.10.
