NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Texas A&M University has picked up a new in-state verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Round Rock, Texas native\u00a0Jade Hallum<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hallum does her club swimming with Austin Trinity Aquatic Club under head coach Doug Russell\u00a0<\/strong>and owns three Winter Junior standards. She raced four events and notched a personal best at Juniors West in December and finaled in four events at College Station Speedo Sectionals last March.\u00a0She capped off an extremely successful long course season at ISCA Seniors last summer where she finished second in the 100m free and third in the 50m fly and 200m free.<\/p>\n

A current junior at\u00a0Saint Dominic Savio Christian High School, Hallum is a four-time Texas TAPPS DII State champion.\u00a0She won the 50\/200 free as a sophomore after placing first in the 200 free and 100 fly during her freshman season. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts.<\/p>\n
