NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Pittsford, New York native and high school junior\u00a0Megan\u00a0<\/strong>Deuel\u00a0<\/b>has announced her verbal commitment to Notre Dame as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Deuel swims year-round with Victor Swim Club and owns the U.S. Open standard in both fly events as well as four additional Winter Junior cuts. She placed fourth in the 200 fly and tenth in the 100 fly at Juniors East and concluded her summer season with a 17th-place showing in the former at Junior Nationals. She also registered six top-5 finishes at Ithaca Speedo Sectionals last March.\u00a0Deuel is a six-time New York Federation Championships finalist while representing Pittsford High School and successfully defended her 100 back and 100 fly titles<\/a> during her junior season. She has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts.<\/p>\n
