NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Briarcliff, New York native and high school junior\u00a0Carly Schwab\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to the University of Florida beginning in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Primarily a breaststroker, Schwab currently does her club swimming with Bolles School Sharks and most recently competed in two events at Juniors East in December. She capped off her summer season with a 24th-place finish in the 100m breast at NCSAs after placing 11th in both the 50m free and 100m breast at Metropolitan LCM Seniors. Also competing for Bolles School, she placed third in the 100 breast at the Florida 1A State Championships as a sophomore after finishing second in that event at the New York Federation Championships while she was a freshman at Briarcliff High School.<\/p>\n
