NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Rockford, Mich. breaststroker and high school junior\u00a0Masy Folcik\u00a0<\/strong>has announced her verbal commitment to Purdue University beginning in the 2020-21 season.<\/p>\n

Primarily a breaststroker, Folcik does her club swimming with Rockford Riptide Swim Team. She owns the U.S. Open cut in the 100 breast and most recently raced a trio of events at Juniors East in December. She concluded her summer season with a fourth-place showing in the 100m breast at Spire Speedo Sectionals and achieved four lifetime bests. Also competing for Rockford High School, Folcik is a six-time Michigan DI State Championship finalist. She placed third in the 100 breast and fifth in the 200 IM as a junior after placing fourth in the former during her sophomore season.<\/p>\n
