Ross caught up with\u00a0<strong>Caeleb Dressel<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Jan Switkowski\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Mark Szaranek\u00a0<\/strong>to explore how the three guys get the most out of each other in practice.<\/p>\n<p>Dressel, Switkowski and Szaranek each finished their NCAA careers for the Gators in 2018, as did\u00a0<strong>Gregg Troy<\/strong>, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-coach-gregg-troy-to-retire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced his retirement<\/a> at the end of last season. Troy has stuck around to coach the pro group in Gainesville which includes a number of world class swimmers.<\/p>\n<p>The three guys talked about how much they enjoy training together and what specific things they get out of training with the team every day.<\/p>\n<p>Dressel, Switkowski and Szaranek were on Florida&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-wins-nc-state-sets-american-record-in-4x50-free-relay-on-night-two-of-di-ncaas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">200 free relay team<\/a> that won the NCAA title a year ago. Dressel led off with a mind boggling 17.81 and the Gators hung on to win their first ever 200 free relay title in school history.<\/p>\n<p>Switkowski also had himself a successful NCAA meet in Minnesota last year as he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/florida-takes-first-and-third-in-200-im-on-night-two-of-2018-mens-di-ncaas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">won the 200 IM<\/a> for his first ever individual NCAA title, joining the likes of\u00a0<strong>Bradley Ally<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Marcin Cieslak<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Ryan Lochte<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Greg Burgess\u00a0<\/strong>and <strong>Martin Zubero\u00a0<\/strong>as winners in the event for the Gators.<\/p>\n<p>Switkowski also finished second the next night in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/dressel-drops-42-80-100-fly-breaks-another-american-record-race-video\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">100 fly<\/a> to Dressel as the latter swam a monstrous 42.80 in the event, breaking the record by almost a full second.<\/p>\n<p>Dressel, Switkowski and Szaranek really feed off each other positively in the water at practice, and it has shown in the competition pool.
