Replays will\u00a0also be available on Spotify and Amazon\u2019s Alexa.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Murphy claimed three gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games by winning both the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ryan-murphy-keeps-american-streak-alive-with-100-backstroke-olympic-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">100-<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ryan-murphy-continues-american-dominance-in-200-back\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">200-<\/a>meter Backstrokes as well as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/ryan-murphy-downs-100-backstroke-world-record-to-open-400-medley-relay\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4&#215;100 Medley Relay<\/a> with American teammates <strong>Cody Miller<\/strong>, <strong>Michael Phelps<\/strong> and <strong>Nathan Adrian<\/strong>. In the latter, he set the World Record in the 100 with an opening split of 51.85.<\/p>\n<p>Most recently, Murphy picked up four more international medals at the 2017 FINA World Championships and six at the 2019 Short Course World Championships in Hangzhou. Three of these were gold in the 100 Backstroke and medley relays.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his international prowess, Murphy made a name for himself on the collegiate stage for California by sweeping the backstroke events <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/motivated-ryan-murphy-makes-history-aims-for-more\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four years in a row<\/a> at the NCAA Championships.
