The Big Ten Conference announced its swimmers and divers of the week as the Minnesota Golden Gophers won three of the six weekly awards.\u00a0Bowen Becker<\/strong>,\u00a0Chantal Nack\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Max McHugh\u00a0<\/strong>were honored by the Big Ten on Wednesday for their efforts in the win over Northwestern and Purdue.<\/p>\n

Iowa’s\u00a0Jayah Mathews\u00a0<\/strong>won the diver of the week award, while Indiana’s\u00a0James Connor\u00a0<\/strong>won the men’s diver of the week award. Penn State’s\u00a0Madison Murtagh\u00a0<\/strong>won the freshman of the week award.<\/p>\n

  • Won both the 50 Freestyle (19.83) and the 100 Freestyle (43.24) with NCAA \u201cB\u201d cut times<\/li>\n

  • Earns his fourth career Swimmer of the Week honor and the fourth of the season<\/li>\n
