NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>Loyola University of Maryland has gained a new in-state commitment for the fall of 2019 from Baltimore, Md. Native Max Verheyen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Verheyen does his club swimming with Eagle Swim Team under head coach Scott Ward<\/strong>\u00a0and owns four Winter Junior time standards. He most recently competed at the Retriever Classic where he won the 200 IM with five additional top-3 finishes. Verheyen achieved nine lifetime bests at the Speedo Holiday Cup in December and concluded his summer long course season with a sixth-place showing in the 400m IM at Richmond Futures. A current senior at Gilman School, the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American also placed fifth in both the 200 breast and 400 IM at Christiansburg Speedo Sectionals last March.<\/p>\n

He told Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n
