NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Pittsburgh has received a new commitment for the fall of 2019 from Tampa, Florida’s\u00a0Jilian Schulte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Schulte swims year-round with Greater Tampa Swimming Association and most recently recorded two lifetime bests at Juniors East time trials in December. She capped off her long course season with an eighth-place showing in the 100m fly at Southern Zone Seniors after placing seventh in that event at Florida LCM Seniors this past summer. Also competing for H.B. Plant High School, Schulte\u00a0placed 11th in the 100 fly and 15th in the 200 free as a senior after placing 16th in the latter during her junior season at the Florida 4A State Championships.<\/p>\n

She told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

“I am so excited to continue swimming and studying at the University of Pittsburg!! When I first walked on campus I knew Pitt was the right place for me. With such a great coaching staff and team, and incredible academic program I know I will be able to excel in and out of the pool. I am thankful for all my coaches and teammates for helping me reach this point in my swimming career, and for my parents and family for their constant support. I can\u2019t wait to see what the future has in store for me as a Panther!! HAIL TO PITT!!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
