GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) \u2013 NC State\u2019s Eric Knowles<\/strong> has been named ACC Men\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and his Wolfpack teammate Holt Gray<\/strong> has been selected as the Diver of the Week. On the Women\u2019s side, NC State\u2019s Kylee Alons<\/strong> has been named Women\u2019s Swimmer of the Week, and Virginia\u2019s Sydney Dusel<\/strong> has been tabbed Diver of the Week.<\/p>\n

It marks the third week in a row that NC State has had multiple swimmers and divers honored by the conference and the second week in a row that the Pack has swept the ACC Swimmer of the Week honors. Alons (ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Week) and Gray (ACC Men’s Diver of the Week) both garnered the honors for the second time this season, while this is Knowles’ first ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Week nod of his sophomore campaign and the first honors of his career.<\/p>\n

Eric Knowles<\/strong> swept the distance events in the meet against the Cavaliers to tie in the lead for scoring for the Pack men. He started his outing by dropping the Wolfpack’s fastest 1000-yard freestyle time of the season, touching the wall in 9:02.15 for the first-place finish. He went on to also take first in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:23.48.<\/p>\n
