The Big Ten season is winding down, but there is still a full slate of dual meets this week.<\/p>\n

Many teams will be in action, some against conference foes, some against other opponents in the region.<\/p>\n

One of the biggest meets is a non-conference one as Louisville is slated to swim at Indiana on Friday.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s meet will be a battle of top 10 teams. The Hoosiers are ranked No. 3 and the Cardinals are ranked No. 8.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s meet also is a showdown of ranked teams, but both teams are not in the top 10. The Cardinals are ranked No. 16, while Indiana is ranked No. 11.<\/p>\n

Both meets should be extremely interesting.<\/p>\n

The women\u2019s meet has two of the biggest starts in the country competing. Indiana\u2019s Lilly King<\/strong> is an Olympic gold medalist and multi-national champion in the breaststroke events. Meanwhile, Louisville\u2019s Mallory Comerford<\/strong> is one of the best middle-distance freestylers in the country. She is an NCAA champion and has been an All-American in several events.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, they won\u2019t swim head-to-head unless they are swimming off events in this meet, but it is still exciting to have some star power at a meet.<\/p>\n

The men\u2019s meet will have some of that too as Indiana\u2019s NCAA champion Ian Finnerty<\/strong> and All-American Vini<\/strong> Lanza<\/strong> faces Louisville\u2019s Nicolas Albiero<\/strong> and Zach Harting<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Both teams have depth in individual events and relays, which will give each team some good head-to-head competition in a variety of ways heading into their respective conference championships.<\/p>\n

Other meets to watch for<\/h3>\n

Iowa hosts Western Illinois on Friday in a non-conference meet. Meanwhile there are a pair of two-day meets schedule with all Big Ten teams involved. Nebraska hosts Rutgers on Friday and Saturday, while Northwestern hosts Minnesota and Purdue in a double-dual on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Big Ten weekend will conclude with a non-conference battle on Saturday at Michigan State hosts Notre Dame.<\/p>\n
