NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Chevy Chase, Md. native\u00a0Will Tenpas<\/strong> has declared his commitment to Duke University and will join the Blue Devils this fall.<\/p>\n

Tenpas swims year-round with Nation’s Capital Swim Club under head coach\u00a0Tim Kelly<\/strong> and owns the Winter Juniors cut in both breaststroke events. He most recently competed at the TYR Pro Swim Series – Knoxville where he finaled in the 100m and 200m breast after achieving 100% lifetime bests at the Tom Dolan Invite. The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American raced the 200 breast at Winter Nationals and capped off his summer season with a seventh-place finish in that event at NCSAs.\u00a0Also competing for Bethesda Chevy Chase High School, Tenpas\u00a0placed sixth in the 100 breast and ninth in the 200 IM as a junior at the Maryland 3A\/4A State Championships.<\/p>\n
