NEW COMMIT: <\/strong>The University of Tennessee has picked up a verbal commitment from Elle Caldow<\/strong> of Virginia Beach, Va. who will join the Lady Vols for the 2020-21 season.<\/p>\n

Primarily a backstroker and freestyler, Caldow swims year-round with Tide Swimming and is a three-time U.S Open qualifier. She most recently competed in her future home pool at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville where she finaled in five different events. She placed 18th in the 100 back at Juniors East last month and achieved 100% lifetime bests at Junior Nationals this past summer after winning the 400m free at Virginia LCM Seniors.<\/p>\n

Also competing for First Colonial High School, the current junior is a four-time Virginia 6A State Championship finalist. Caldow won the 100 back and took fifth in the 200 free as a sophomore after finishing 12th in the former and fourth in the 100 free during her freshman season. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors.<\/p>\n
