She raced four events and earned 100% lifetime bests at Juniors East last month and capped off a successful summer season with an eighth-place showing in the 200m back at NCSAs. Also competing for Greensboro Day School, Jones finished third in the 100 back and fifth in the 200 IM as a sophomore at the North Carolina 3A State Championships. She has also earned USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors for her efforts.<\/p>\n<p>She told\u00a0<em>Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8220;I am so honored and excited to announce my verbal commitment to further my academic and swim career at NC State! Thank you to all of my coaches, friends, and family who have helped me get to where I am now. I can&#8217;t wait to be part of this amazing family!!
