NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Hillsboro, Oregon native and high school junior\u00a0Ethan Heasley<\/strong> has announced his commitment to Texas and will join the Longhorns in the fall of 2020.<\/p>\n

Heasley swims year-round with Hillsboro HEAT Swim Team and owns 12 Winter Juniors (or faster) cuts, six of which are also U.S. Open standards.\u00a0The USA Swimming Scholastic All-American took seventh in the 500 free and 13th in the 400 IM at Juniors West last month and achieved 100% lifetime bests at Phillips 66 Nationals this past summer. As a member of the USA National Junior team, Heasley earned the bronze medal in the 400m free at the 2018 Junior Pan Pac Championships where he also competed in four other events.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n
