NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>The University of Wisconsin – Madison has gained a new verbal commitment for the fall of 2019 from Centennial, Colorado sprinter\u00a0Brendan Eckerman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eckerman swims year-round with Aquawolves Swimming and owns four Winter Juniors qualifying standards. He most recently competed at Juniors West where he achieved five personal bests and placed 22nd in the 200 IM. He earned bronze in the 200m IM with four additional top-10 finishes at Western Zone Seniors last summer after ten second-swims at Colorado LCM Seniors.<\/p>\n

Also competing for Cherry Creek High School, Eckerman is a five-time finalist at the Colorado 5A State Championships.\u00a0He finished second in the 100 free and fourth in the 200 IM as a junior after placing fifth in the 200 IM and tenth in the 100 breast during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n

He told\u00a0Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>\n

I fell in love with the town, the atmosphere, the opportunities, and the family of coaches and athletes that make up the team, and I’m excited for the next four years!”<\/strong><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
