\nThe Gulf Coast Swim Team’s annual Summer Invitational took place June 13-16 at the Lee County\/Florida Gold Coast University Aquatic Center in Fort Myers, Florida. Sarasota YMCA took the top spot in the combined team race with 906.5 points, followed by Swim Florida (559.5), Metro Aquatic Club of Miami (472.5), Waves Bloomington (404.5) and St. Petersburg (390).<\/p>\n

\nThis is the first of a series of three long course meets which offer swimmers a short meet format, as well as the chance to compete in more long course competition. The series will be held in the Buffalo\/Rochester\/Syracuse Southern Tier region of Niagara Swimming. Whitney Point Swim Club hosted this initial meet.<\/p>\n
