Winter break is coming to a close this weekend if it has not already for most of the Atlantic Coast Conference schools. There are only five ACC teams in action this weekend with NC State, North Carolina, Miami, Boston College and Georgia Tech all in competition this weekend.<\/p>\n

NC State and North Carolina are the only schools racing in-conference as the Wolfpack will host the Tar Heels in Raleigh on Saturday morning. This will be a much closer meet on the women’s side with NC State ranked 9th on the women’s side and UNC ranked 24th.<\/p>\n

The NC State women are looking for their second ACC team title in three years but will have their hands full with Louisville, who is ranked sixth in the latest CSCAA poll<\/a>. The ACC women’s meet is five weeks away and will be in Greensboro, North Carolina.<\/p>\n

The Wolfpack men are ranked sixth in the latest CSCAA poll while the Tar Heels are not ranked at all. NC State has won the last four ACC men’s titles and are looking in good shape for a fifth straight in six weeks.<\/p>\n

This meet will serve as NC State’s senior day as they will be honoring seven seniors on the women’s side including All-American\u00a0Elise Haan<\/strong>, and twelve seniors on the men’s side including NCAA Champions\u00a0Jacob Molacek<\/strong>,\u00a0Justin Ress\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Andreas Vazaios<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

(#20\/NR) Georgia Tech will be hosting SEC foe South Carolina on Saturday afternoon as the Yellow Jackets are coming off a very strong fall invitational. Georgia Tech is one of the most improved teams this season as they broke six school records at their own invitational in November.<\/p>\n

The Yellow Jackets are highlighted by sophomore\u00a0Caio Pumputis<\/strong>, who is currently ranked second in the nation in the 200 breast, while\u00a0Rodrigo Correia\u00a0<\/strong>(100 back) and\u00a0Christian Ferraro\u00a0<\/strong>(200 fly) also have swims ranked in the top eight in their respective events.<\/p>\n

Miami will be on the road at Florida Gulf Coast just across the state in Fort Myers as the Hurricanes will take on Florida Gulf Coast and Bowling Green in a non-conference tri-meet in the Florida sun.<\/p>\n
