NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Springfield, Penn. native and high school junior\u00a0Cole\u00a0<\/strong>Whitsett\u00a0<\/b>has announced his verbal commitment to the University of Tennessee and will join the Vols as a member of the class of 2024.<\/p>\n

Whitsett swims year-round with the Suburban Seahawks and owns the Winter Nationals cut in the 100 fly and the Winter Juniors cut in the 100 breast. He most recently competed at NCAP’s Tom Dolan Invitational last month where he earned four top-10 finishes. Whitsett placed 17th in the 100m fly at NCSAs this past summer after finishing seventh in the 50m free at Mid-Atlantic LCM Seniors. A current junior at Episcopal Academy, he placed\u00a0fourth in the 100 fly and eighth in the 100 free at the Eastern Interscholastic Championships during his sophomore season.<\/p>\n
