NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Auburn University has earned a verbal commitment for the fall of 2020 from Cypress, Texas backstroker and high school junior\u00a0Elliott Jones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Jones does his club swimming with Premier Aquatics Club of Klein (PACK) and owns the U.S. Open standard in both backstroke events as well as the Winter Juniors cut in the 400 IM. He earned 100% lifetime bests at Juniors West last month and earned a gold and two silvers at Rochester Futures last summer. A current junior at Cypress Christian School, the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American swam all personal bests and made four finals appearances at College Station Speedo Sectionals last March.<\/p>\n
