This week\u2019s ZUMO Performance of the Week goes to <\/span>Annie Lazor<\/b> for her performance in the 200 breast this week at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series stop in Knoxville, Tennessee. <\/span><\/p>\n

Lazor had an impressive few days in Knoxville, recording multiple personal bests from the 50 to the 200 breast. However, her win in the 200 may have been the most significant. Lazor touched the wall in 2:23.51, knocking almost a second off her previous lifetime best of 2:24.42 from last year\u2019s National Championships. In that race she took third behind <\/span>Micah Sumrall<\/b><\/a> (2:22.06) and <\/span>Bethany Galat <\/b>(2:23.32). Sumrall was second here Knoxville, finishing three seconds back in 2:26.50.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lazor is coming off a <\/span>stellar Short Course World Championships<\/span><\/a> where she led a 1-2 finish with <\/span>Bethany Galat <\/b>for Team USA in the 200 breast with a huge PB of 2:18.32. Going a lifetime best in January is surely a good sign moving forward, and adds one more name to watch to the list of potential qualifiers for the 200 breast in 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n
