The 16-year-old from Riptides touched out recent Short Course World Champion\u00a0<strong>Olivia Smoliga\u00a0<\/strong>of Athens Bulldogs as Smoliga came in at 59.44. Both had already competed earlier in the night, with Smith finishing second behind\u00a0<strong>Hali Flickinger\u00a0<\/strong>in the 200 fly and Smoliga taking fourth in the 50 free.<\/p>\n<p>Another 16-year-old joined Smith and Smoliga under 1:00 as Nation&#8217;s Capital&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Phoebe Bacon\u00a0<\/strong>took third in 59.93. 16-year-old\u00a0<strong>Isabelle Stadden\u00a0<\/strong>from Aquajets (1:00.33) and 17-year-old\u00a0<strong>Kayla Sanchez\u00a0<\/strong>from HPC-Ontario\u00a0(1:00.50) rounded out the top five.<\/p>\n<p>Team Elite&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Ali DeLoof\u00a0<\/strong>and Aggie&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Lisa Bratton<\/strong> tied for sixth in 1:00.91, while world record-holder\u00a0<strong>Kathleen Baker\u00a0<\/strong>finished a surprising eighth in 1:00.94.
