{"id":346553,"date":"2019-01-10T19:15:35","date_gmt":"2019-01-11T02:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/?p=346553"},"modified":"2019-01-10T19:15:35","modified_gmt":"2019-01-11T02:15:35","slug":"texas-longhorns-narrowly-edge-auburn-tigers-in-annual-dual","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.swimmingworldmagazine.com\/news\/texas-longhorns-narrowly-edge-auburn-tigers-in-annual-dual\/","title":{"rendered":"Texas Longhorns Narrowly Edge Auburn Tigers in Annual Dual"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The University of Texas men&#8217;s and women&#8217;s Swimming and Diving teams took down the Auburn Tigers at the Martin Aquatics Center on Thursday afternoon, making their record with the Tigers 17-13 for the men and 8-5 for the women.<\/p>\n<p>After today&#8217;s action the Longhorns remain ranked first (women) and second (men) in the NCAA.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second straight win on the road for the men and the fifth straight win for the women, continuing the lady Longhorn&#8217;s undefeated season.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Scores<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Men: Texas 164, Auburn 131<\/p>\n<p>Women: Texas 161, Auburn 139<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Longhorn diver <strong>Jordan Windle<\/strong> took wins on both springboard events with scores of\u00a0392.70 (1-meter) and\u00a0436.88 (3-meter).
