In the first men\u2019s event of the night at the 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville, Joao De Lucca held off Gianluca Urlando and Chase Kalisz to win the 200 Free.<\/p><p>De Lucca dropped two seconds from his prelim time and won in 1:49.48.<\/p><p>Urlando also dropped nearly a second from prelims and finished in 1:49.51, just three hundredths of a second behind De Lucca.<\/p><p>Kalisz was the third-place finisher in 1:50.47. to also earn an Olympic trials cut.<\/p><p>Jeremy Bashaw was fourth (1:51.40), followed by Jay Litherland (1:51.55), Drew Modrov (1:53.19), Jonathan Rutter 2019 TYR Pro Swim Series in Knoxville.<\/p><p>Lazor dropped a half second from prelims and won the race in 1:06.89 to qualify for the Olympic trials.<\/p><p>Olympian Micah Sumrall took second in 1:07.78 to also earn a trials cut.<\/p><p>A pair of Canadian swimmers followed as Kierra Smith finished third (1:08.21), followed by Rachel Nichol (1:08.89).<\/p><p>Molly Hannis qualified for trials with a fifth-place finish of 1:08.98, followed by Faith Knelson (1:09.04) and Byanca Rodriguez (1:09.34).<\/p><p>Emily Escobedo rounded out the top eight with a trials cut of 1:09.92.<\/p><p>Rachel in a race that featured four swimmers the same age finishing within a second of each other.<\/p><p>Wilson, Nic Fink, Josh Prenot and Kevin Cordes are all 25 years old and finished 1-2-3-4, respectively.<\/p><p>Wilson finished in 1:00.57, barely edging Fink (1:00.61) and Prenot (1:00.76). Cordes wasn\u2019t too far behind at 1:01.28 as all four qualified for the Olympic trials.<\/p><p>Caspar Corbeau (1:02.14) was fifth followed by Richard Funk (1:02.70), Jake Foster (1:02.84) and Miguel Chavez (1:03.95).<\/p><p>Connor Hoppe of Cal finished ninth to qualify for trials in 1:03.05.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\"
