NEW COMMIT:<\/strong> High school junior and Muskego, Wis. native Kaylyn Schoof<\/strong> has announced her in-state verbal commitment to the University of Wisconsin \u2013 Madison for the fall of 2020.<\/p>

Schoof swims year-round with Elmbrook Swim Club and owns four U.S. Open standards with the Winter Juniors cut (or faster) in five additional events. She most recently competed at NCSAs this past summer where she finaled in 10 events with top-25 finishes in all of them. She had six top-8 finishes at Iowa City Speedo Sectionals in July and recorded eight top-10 finishes at NCSAs in March. Schoof has also won 10 events over the past three seasons at the Wisconsin SCY State Championships. <\/p>

She told Swimming World:<\/em><\/p>

\u201cWisconsin is where I feel at home. They not only have a great academic program but an amazing swim program as well. Right as I stepped on campus I felt like that was where I saw myself in the future. Being a badger was always a dream of mine, and I’m so excited to live out those dreams. Overall I’m super excited for what my future holds at the University of Wisconsin. Go Badgers!\u201d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>
