Since joining the club, Ziegert not only has continually swum faster, but she also won two high-point awards this past summer! She swims a variety of events, including the 200 and 500 yard free (2:00.56, 5:26.93), 100 and 200 back (59.55, 2:09.13), 100 fly (59.24) and 200 IM (2:16.44).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Head Coach Garrett McCarthy told Swimming World,<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">\u201cZiegert has amazing self-awareness for a young swimmer and really has \u2018IT.\u2019 Ella is self-motivated and a joy to coach. Her attitude and determination have an amazing effect on her teammates who show up every day to compete with each other.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Ziegert also possesses a brave spirit, say her parents.
