THE final stop on the Arena Grand Prix circuit gets underway in just a few hours in Santa Clara, California, at the George Haines International Swim Center. This has historically been one of the fastest in-season meets in the United States, with a few world and American records broken at the pool in the past 40-plus years. <\/p>\n<p>This year&#039;s meet will see several Americans making final race preparations for the world championship trials, while many notable swimmers from Australia and Canada will get in some racing before the world championships. Two of the most notable foreign visitors will be Australian Emily Seebohm and Canadian Ryan Cochrane. Both will be contending for world championship medals in less than two months, and some of the people they could be racing against in Barcelona are likely to be in the pool with them this weekend in Santa Clara. I&#039;ll be on deck in Santa Clara bringing you video interviews with some of the top athletes, and will provide analysis on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights on our Race Day shows with Tiffany Elias.
