NEW COMMIT:\u00a0<\/strong>Los Gatos, Calif. native and high school junior Dylan\u00a0Hawk\u00a0<\/strong>has recently announced his in-state verbal commitment to the University of California, Berkeley beginning in the fall of 2020.<\/p>

Hawk swims year-round with the Santa Clara Swim Club under head coach Allison\u00a0Beebe<\/strong> and is a four-time Winter Juniors qualifier which includes a U.S. Open standard in the 200 free. He recorded a trio of lifetime bests at Juniors West last month and placed 16th in the 100m free at Santa Clara Futures in August.<\/p>

Also competing for Los Gatos High School, Hawk placed seventh in both the 100 free and 200 free at the CIF State Championships during his sophomore season. He also won the 200 free at CIF-Central Coast Sections in a quick 1:37.49, which was the fastest time in the nation for 15-year-old boys last year. Hawk has also earned both NISCA and USA Swimming Scholastic All-American honors.<\/p>

I know that this is the best decision for me because of the opportunity to swim under Dave Durden and Chase Kreitler, as well as the fantastic academic program and the great group of guys that I will have the privilege of training with. Go Bears!”<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>
